This Privacy Policy explains how Swing Studios, LLC ("Swing Studios," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit swingstudiosgolf.com (the "Site"), book a tour, join as a member, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or our facility, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and payment information when you request a tour, sign up for a membership, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter.

We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.

We collect information about your visits to our facility, including check-in records, simulator bay usage, and video and audio recorded by our on-site surveillance system, as described further below.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve our content and functionality.

We use Webflow, our website hosting and content management platform, and Cloudflare, a security and performance service, both of which may set cookies or process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering and securing the Site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though doing so may affect how parts of the Site function.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is not yet an accepted industry standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining your membership records, complying with legal and tax obligations, and resolving disputes.

Video and audio recordings from our on-site surveillance system are retained for 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted unless a longer retention period is required to investigate an incident or comply with a legal obligation.

Children's Privacy

The Site and our online forms are intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18 through the Site.

Minors may participate in activities at our facility, but any information associated with a minor's visit (such as a reservation or membership) is submitted by, and associated with, the account of their parent or guardian, not the minor.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 18 without appropriate parental involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

TrackMan — golf simulator and swing-tracking technology used in our bays

Video & Audio Surveillance

For the safety and security of our members, guests, and staff, we operate an in-house video and, in designated areas, audio surveillance system at our facility. Recordings are stored securely on-site, accessed only by authorized personnel, retained for 90 days as described above, and used solely for safety, security, and operational purposes. Signage is posted at the facility to notify visitors of active surveillance.

Marketing Communications & Your Choices

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you periodic updates and promotions by email through Constant Contact; you may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email. We do not send automated or mass text messages or robocalls. Any phone calls or text messages you receive from us are sent manually, one-to-one, by our staff — for example, to confirm a tour or reservation — and you may ask us to stop contacting you by phone or text at any time.

Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Swing Studios does not currently meet the revenue or data-volume thresholds that trigger coverage under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). As a matter of good practice, however, we voluntarily offer the following choices to everyone who interacts with us.

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete your personal information (subject to legal and operational exceptions, such as records we must keep for accounting purposes), and opt out of marketing communications. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these choices.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Swing Studios does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not currently use advertising pixels, ad networks, or other tools that would constitute such sharing — our website analytics and hosting tools are described in the "Third-Party Service Providers We Use" section above. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism as required by law.
